# Research graph release notes ## Discursive Mindedness access, 23 September 2026 Discursive Mindedness now requires the existing LARRI login. Its canonical PDF uses the session gateway; legacy manuscript paths remain denied. The reviewer test is available after login. The essay’s full text is excluded from public search. The public research projection also withholds the reading path that reproduces its passage; the source bibliography remains available. Three public research questions retain eight supported readings. The protected reading path remains in the private editing data. ## Missing works and connected readings — 23 September 2026 - Added 11 works on alignment, evaluation, agency, and the Odyssey, with online primary sources and specific framework relationships. Integrated 21 existing essay-citation nodes into the matrix’s subject categories and search, preserving their links and the three existing research-page identities. The bibliography now contains 301 works. - Completed Discursive Mindedness’s 55 bibliography mappings; the other essays retain 56 and 21. Removed one stale essay-to-work mapping without removing the work itself. - Added passage-linked readings on paraphrase reliability, prompt content versus presentation, and independent authorization controls. The four research questions now have 12 annotated literature connections. OpenAI’s report and the independent incident investigation remain distinct sources. - Essay PDF contents, draft authentication, and existing reading controls are unchanged. - Added an overflow-only packing fallback for crowded zoomed-out matrix overviews; normal subject layouts are unchanged. ## Supplied essay filenames — 21 September 2026 - Restored the three PDFs' supplied filenames and updated all current essay and evidence links. PDF contents, displayed titles, passage locations, and draft authentication are unchanged. Old public essay URLs redirect to their renamed files. ## Hard Problem draft access — 21 September 2026 - The essay node now says **Log in to read the draft**. The existing LARRI login opens the canonical PDF through a single Read draft action; its full text is not included in public search or research exports. Other essays, scholarly records, and supported reading paths are unchanged. ## Discursive Mindedness PDF — 19 September 2026 - Updated the essay from the supplied 23-page PDF. Verified the existing cited passages and refreshed the source hash, PDF link cache key, and search index. The title and single PDF action are unchanged. - Removed the result-list bulk-download buttons. Citation copying and static bibliography exports remain available. ## Question-led reading paths — 18 September 2026 - Replaced the disconnected claim catalogue with four research questions about meaning, adequate reasons, conflict, and action-governing authority. Each shows an argument, its essay passage, and two or three annotated scholarly readings with direct source links. - Nine explicit literature connections distinguish philosophical basis, implementation methods, and scope qualifications. Added a chapter-specific Brandom citation; all previous bibliography records remain available (272 total). - Removed the separate evidence, connections, and proposal tabs, comparison/selection controls, and administrative filters. Retained search, framework-aspect selection, domain navigation, source citations, and reading-list downloads. Eight further claim cards and all standalone evaluation proposals were withdrawn from the public layer. - A question must have at least two source-backed scholarly readings and a basis or method connection to publish. Four questions, nine relations, and thirteen evidence records are public. ## Canonical PDF refresh — 18 September 2026 - Updated From Computation to Coherence from the supplied Downloads PDF, copied byte-for-byte. Verified its passage locators and refreshed source hashes, download cache keys, and search indexing. The essay retains its normal title and single PDF action. ## Argument curation and domain navigation — 18 September 2026 - Retained twelve passage-backed claims with explicit arguments and consequences; withdrew thirteen introductory, redundant, open-ended, or forthcoming-essay records. - Removed fifteen indirect or unsupported relations; retained two and added six passage-backed dependencies/method connections. Eight relations and thirteen evidence records are public. - Removed unresolved/search-gap placeholders, empty fields and relation groups, and unverified legacy relevance commentary from the research interface and exports. Withdrawn records remain in the private editing ledger. - Four concrete evaluations remain labeled as proposals, without empty results fields. All 271 bibliography works remain available. - Philosophy, Code, and Governance in the top panel filter the Works view, highlight the active domain, and focus/scroll to the results. Back/Forward and shared links retain the domain. ## Initial claim-level release — 18 September 2026 - Preserved 268 original distinct work identities and all existing matrix routes; assessed every original work's accessible metadata. - Added three primary-source catalogue records for Searle (1980), Chalmers (1995), and Bender and Koller (2020), without renumbering matrix cards. - Added 25 claims anchored to unchanged canonical essays, 32 evidence records, 17 scoped typed relationships, and explicit review and opposition-search states. - Added works, claims, evidence, objections/gaps, evaluation proposals, filters, three-item comparison, public-only browser-local reading selections, and stable URLs. - Added BibTeX, RIS, CSL-JSON, graph JSON, and CSV exports, a static bibliography fallback, methods, and a data dictionary. - Kept protected content outside these public outputs. A separate, subsequent user request rotated the Lawrence Street LARRI login to the single `lawrencestreet.ai` account; earlier credentials and sessions are invalidated. The separately hosted verification site was not changed. The precise release label, counts, and byte hashes are in [the release manifest](data/release-manifest.json). This locally prepared release does not imply live deployment.
